Casinos getting ready for Thanksgiving feasts in Colorado gaming towns

Thanksgiving dinner


Untie your apron, shut off the oven and make plans to join Fitzgeralds at either the Shamrock Cafe or Don B’s on Thursday, Nov. 26 for a delectable Thanksgiving feast. The Shamrock Cafe Thanksgiving meal is a down-home feast that starts at 11 a.m. and is $15.95. Guests can enjoy a traditional holiday turkey or glazed ham meal that includes choice of soup (Irish leek or vegetable) or salad, and all the sides, including mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, traditional stuffing, green beans, yams, rolls and butter, dessert and beverage. Don B’s starts serving its holiday turkey or glazed ham meal at 2 p.m., which includes choice of French onion or butternut squash bisque, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, natural pan gravy, traditional herb dressing, green bean casserole, yams, rolls and butter and choice of dessert in addition to choice of a glass of Champagne, wine or eggnog cocktail. The cost is $21.95.


The chefs at the Isle’s Calypso’s Buffet have prepared an amazing menu with all of the traditional Thanksgiving dishes and more. The $19.99 Thanksgiving buffet will be available beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26.


A traditional feast, with salad bar and dessert, is free at the Canyon Grille with 100 points earned, $13.99 without. Voucher from club required.


In addition to Century’s $5.99 prime rib, the Central City casino will feature a traditional Thanksgiving meal consisting of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetable, roll and dessert. Price is still to be determined but word is it will be below 10 bucks for sure.


The November food specials at Lucille Malone’s include a delicious stuffed pork chop, chicken Parmesan sandwich or smothered beef and bean burrito.

Fortune Valley

Fortune Valley’s Cedar Grille Steakhouse is open Thursday through Sunday. Enjoy a free glass of house wine and house dessert with any purchased entrée on Thursdays (cannot be combined with any comps, discounts or coupons).


Bring the family to Cripple Creek’s Wildwood Casino on Thanksgiving day and enjoy the plentiful Thanksgiving buffet at the Saddle Bar Restaurant. Price is $15.95 plus tax and includes turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, apple pie, pecan pie and pumpkin pie.
